Part 1

--Age: seventeen

--Gender: female

--How I found my way here: because im a stalker like that, i wound up on hungerbound's userinfo and thought "hey! word plays make me happy!". &thus i joined.

--Questions/comments/concerns: this is definitely much needed, i think. although i cant say i dont enjoy gratuitous wanarexic bashing, constructive education and correction is really the way to stop this bizarre eating disorder "trend" sweeping the web.

Part 2 (disordered members only)

--ED: diagnosed anorexic and bulimic, but i was misdiagnosed anorexic. although i did and do meet the weight criteria, i never stopped menstruation.

--Diagnosed/Self-diagnosed?: accurately diagnosed bulimic

--Questionnaire:
[1a] Is your bmi less than 17.5? honestly, i have no idea. right now im supposed to be in "recovery" and maintaining a bmi of 18.5, but im certainly below that. i could be anywhere between 18 to 17, as i am not allowed to weigh myself.

[1b] If your bmi is over 17.5, have you been medically diagnosed with anorexia nervosa at your current weight? non-applicable, i guess.

[2] Are you terrified of gaining weight or getting fat? ive had to get comfortable with bulking up for weigh-ins, but it always drives me into a state of despair, so i guess the short answer would be yes. i would rather die than get fat again.

[3] Does your weight/size/shape influence how you feel about yourself? of course.

[4] Have you missed your period for the past three months? no, ive never missed a period but ive noticed it getting lighter and shorter since ive lost weight.
