"manorexia"

I read a news story about what they call "manorexics."

What do you think that is? Of course, there are men with EDs. Does it annoy anyone else that they use this term? Anorexia nervosa does not just apply to women. Men with anorexia do not need a special term called "manorexia" -- that implies the diagnosis of anorexia never applied to men in the past. While less common, men still can be anorexic and I found the term obnoxious.

Does it bug anyone else or am I just hypersensitive? I know they are just tryng to be witty, but it's not witty -- it's sensationalistic.

It's not a bad story if you watch it, but the term bothers me.
