I've been recovering for 5 years now and that voice has died down a lot, but it's still there. It's kind of irritating. It usually occurs when I'm stressed out, but I never act on whatever thoughts are in my head (such as "you need to fast!") so I guess that's a good thing. I'm definitely glad I've been this successful with recovery (I feel pretty much recovered), but those thoughts make me question if I'm truly recovered.
