Okay, so part number one. I know that insomnia and irregular sleeping patterns are associated with eating disorders, especially Anorexia Nervosa. I was wondering why this is?
Iron deficiencies make one tired all the time, right? So lack of iron and other nutrients could account for tiredness and oversleeping. This makes sense to me. Disturbed sleep puzzles me a little more. Is it increased anxiety, hunger...?
As for the second part, I'm curious as to how much you all sleep. I know that I have a very difficult time sleeping, and that I normally get around 5-6 hours of sleep a night. However, I'm always exhausted. Do bulimics sleep poorly as well? Individuals suffering from COE or NES?
