Not sure if this is the right community to be asking, but I figure everybody here will be the most knowledgeable on the subject.

Anyways, I've never been formerly diagnosed by a doctor but I've had eating disordered behavior since 12 years old. Since I got to college I gained a considerable amount of weight, and I'm not comfortable with it at all. By no means am I at an unhealthy weight, if anything I'm the most "average" I've been my whole life, but while I'm trying to drop these pounds I've gained to get back into my comfort zone, I just need help coping with it, that it's the reality now and that I'm not going to be the same size I was in high school.

What have you done to help yourself cope with weight gain, whether it be from recovery or just in general? How to you convince yourself that it's okay that your old clothes don't fit?
