Does anyone here feel like their eating habits differ depending on where they are and who they are with?
I for one, know that there are certain places where I know I will not eat or I know that I will eat. Same with people, with certain friends and family I will only eat specific things. Unlike most people, I find it easiest to restrict when in public or with friends. I feel like people expect me not to eat junk food or to eat very little or to only eat healthily, so I would never want them to discover that my habits have changed, I feel that I have to live up to other people's expectations of me. However, when I am at home just with my family, I will binge or eat larger amounts or eat food that is not necessarily low-calorie. I get more nervous of spending and afternoon home alone then going out to a party with friends where there will be loads of food. When I'm by myself, I will eat but in the presence of others, I know I won't.
Any one else feel similarly?
