From my personal bowel movement research, I've found a lot of information about constipation, and I know that it's fairly common for people who are anorexic to be constipated, but the definition of normal bowel movements is really vague.
I'm hoping somebody can either enlighten me or point me in the direction of some good info.
My bowel movements are pretty much the opposite. I have to poop at least 3 times a day, often more - generally between 4 and 6. My stool is kind of um, loose, for lack of a better term. I feel like something is kind of wrong because it often appears as though my food isn't really digested, and obviously because I feel like I have to move my bowels a lotttt more frequently than anybody else.
For example, today I ate an orange at around 2 pm. At 4 pm I had a bowel movement that contained a lot of undigested orange. That just doesn't really seem normal.
Obviously this is a problem if I'm not getting nutrients from my food or whatever...
Um, I drink water, exercise regularly, and have a diet high in fiber (I'm a vegan). I take a medication that lists diarrhea as a side effect, but that isn't really the problem. I'm just having a really hard time finding out information and I'm interested to hear what sorts of bowel movements other people have, and if anybody has experienced something similar or knows what the cause of this is.
