I've noticed that since my ED and bi-polar (along with seasonal affective disorder) began around the same time that during my depressive episodes I "rely" on bulimia and the hypomania or manic stages I go downhill quickly with the anorexia. The depressive side occures October-April and hypomania/mania April-October. Hence I go through anorexia and bulimia every year and my weight goes up and down dramatically. Does anyone else deal with this and have you found a medium with recovery or still fight these similar urges?
