I like to run my fingers over my angles. I touch them, almost fondle them, almost as if to remind myself that they're still there: shoulders, collarbones, hipbones, ribs. It helps me feel solid. I think it's comforting.

Actually, it's one of the main reasons I want to lose more weight. I want to strip myself down to the bare essentials so that when I touch my thighs there won't be a layer of fat covering me. I don't consider fat to be a part of me. When it's there, I feel less real.

I'm just wondering if any of you have the same thought process, and in general, how you relate to your body aside from the visual aesthetics of it.

(Hi, my name is Elisabeth. I'm sixteen, self-diagnosed EDNOS/orthorexic/BDD, and this is my first post. Nice to "meet" you!)
