I know I am underweight, and even though I'm afraid of getting fat, I bought a body fat percentage scale so I can start to recover. (I'm going for my first psych appointment Wednesday and a bone density scan in a couple weeks, and it's scaring me straight.)
Do you use one? If so, are you trying to recover/ recovered, or are you using them to help you lose weight? Is knowing your body fat percentage better than your BMI? Is it a trigger?
In case this helps anyone else, I've returned the scales. Thank you for everyone's comments, and for those thinking about these scales, there are better methods. Save your £50!
