What have your experiences been in dealing with a naturopath while having an ED?
Did it help you/is it helping you recover from your eating disorder?
Would you suggest it?
I want to see if I have any food sensitivities - is it a good idea to go to a naturopath if I have an ED? What to expect?

I want to see a naturopath because I have been feeling excessively nauseous for the past month and I know it has to do with something I'm eating. But for a person with an ED, it's extremely hard to simply "stop" eating a specific type of food, especially when you live with your other people/parents and there is food in your house that you can't avoid/they won't stop buying. So I think I have a negative reaction to a specific food and I don't know what it is. I don't exactly trust the nutritionist at my ED program either (even though there is a new one working there) because they are government-funded and rely heavily on the Food Guide.

I am also expecting the nutritionist to say that my image of food is too distorted, therefore, I shouldn't cut anything out and I should be eating everything in balance. At least that's what the last nutritionist told me. I do eat a balance of food groups but I tend to overdo sugar and starches, which I predict is the cause of my nausea. My mom also experiences the same thing when she eats these food.

Please help.
