STANDARDS OF MEMBER BEHAVIOR
1) Do not be jackasses to each other. If you are found being needlessly rude or snarky, we will give you one warning, and the next time you're banned. We're sick of telling people to play nice over and over again. Intelligent people do not need to belittle each other.
2) This is definitely not a place for pro-ed propaganda. We certainly invite pro-ed people to take part in our quest for understanding, but touting pro-ed beliefs is a no-no. We are NOT pro-ed in any way.
3) Eating disorders are not lifestyles. This is a primary tenet of this community. If you think that they are and intend to shove that opinion on other people, you need to leave. This kind of ignorance will not be spread here.
People have been obeying these rather well. That's fantastic. If you need to be reminded of what they are, or if you are uncertain if your post fits the guidelines, there is a link to them in the right-hand sidebar on the main community entries page.
We have need of new memories moderators, with an emphasis on sorting pre-existing memories. If you're interested, fill out the survey found here.
Please don't think that we are trying to censor anyone here. We are definitely not about that at all. However, with a community with this purpose and of this size, some rules are necessary just to keep things from going to hell. Try to think of this community as a classroom. You should treat everyone here with the same respect that you would show your peers and colleagues in a regular academic setting.
